i'll be doing my first harvest in about 3/4 weeks time and after reading loads of stuff i know exactly what i need to do for the buds to dry and cure, but how to people manage the trim?

is there any need to dry the trim before making hash? i'll probably be making hash when all 6 of my plants are trimmed and with a staggered harvest youre probably looking at a month between the first and the last, whats the best thing to do with the trim that'll be around for a month before hash making? i obviously dont want it to get any mold at all in the meantime!

any help would be greatly appreciated, just so you know im intending to make ice bubble hash.

Freeze it,Then after all the grooming after harvest freeze all the excess. Then you rub it through a tight screen. You should end up with about 15-20% of the total mass in trich's to make youre hash out of.

No no no. What you want to do is to make sure that your trim is completly dry before you put it in the freezor. Otherwise you will trap water in your trics. you do NOT want to screen it or grind it up or break it down in any way. You want to be very careful with it so that you do not damage the trics. Once your trim is dry go through and pick out all the watter leaves so your only left with the close better trim or your hash will come out with a lot of cloraphil in it. Cheers

If ur making hash oil you do not need to dry your trim at all. I know because iv made hash oil with fresh trim b4. Oh course im talking about the butane extract method, not the iso alch soak method

im not gonna read all the posts caus it looks like a bunch of confusion but here is what ive found.... best hash ive made has been with dried trim i just put it on a screen you can bus screen and 2x4s and make a frame then just leve it to dry with my other buds that are hanging, ive tried it with wet trim and freesing it and it still works but the resulting hash came out a lil crumbly still good and held to gether but when you try to work it to much it would crumble... i always use a variation of the gumby methode you can find a video on youtube. ive done it in a huge glass jar with a hand held kitchen mixer b4 with great results too
