never heard of putting vodka into the butter. gotta try it next time around
it' supposed to help break all the THC down. i brewed it until it all cooked off. the first few times i opened the lid it about knocked me out. i would leave it uncovered during the "WARM", cooling off periods. this allowed the alcohol to evaporate. can't smell or taste it at all.

thanks for responding fdd.. im a big fan of yours unfortunately im a way better indoor then outdoor guy.. but i assume from your grows u got a 100 grams of hash off at least four times more trim then me since your outdoor plants r like small towns lol thanks though if i can ever pulkl off outdoor like u then i will copy your washin machine hash method.. lol unfortunately i lost 300 out door plants this year due to bad placement and natural vegetation..oh well..still + rep if i can

I do NOT want to start a freaking hash/honey debate! I can not emphasize that enough! My question is which one actually extracts more? When I harvested I separated out all the "good" leaves and popcorn from the fan leaves, etc. I was thinking of BHO extraction on the fan leaves but that is probably just because I have it in my head that BHO extraction works better. Im planning on making mostly hash & butter with the "good" trim.

honestly my first attempt i tried the alcohol hash method.. total failure as far as time yield and quality.. butter method way better .. 12 ozs of trim to 5 lbs butter incredible.. never actually made hash like fdd.. or bud like him either but alcohol hash in my hop is doodoo.. go wit his method for washing machine hash or butter(never tried it wit vodka or water though) good luck
