what to do with a male plant

about to throw it out, is their anything i can do with it?
Did i read somewhere that it could turn into a hermi?
i could possible get a mate to keep watering it at his house, worth doing for chance of hermi(this will produce seeds that we can use later, right?)

To produce offspring you need nuts and calyxes. They can be on seperate plants or on the same plant. If a female plant turned hermie and pollenated itself it would produce mostly female or hermie offspring. If you did this with a male you would get mostly male or hermie offspring.

So its up to you.
