What time to start growing outside

Hey guys

Was thinking about finding a remote spot and dumping some seeds then coming back late in the year. I live in alberta where its frozen until early may sometimes. Anyone have experience with doing this? What time of year would you dump your seeds? Thanks!

3-5 weeks after the least frost of the season.

dont know your time zone or whatnot BUT i would wait until the last frost has hit....if your not sure, then when you are close germ up some seeds.....veg them then go plant....or just go throw seeds and see if you get lucky
