hey so ive heard nitrogen levels- or whatever, fluxuate during different periods of the light cycle... i.e. begining of the 12-on or 12-off. is this true? and will the time i choose to chop it effect my final product??

you want higher nitrogen levels when vegging a plant

you want higher phosphate levels when flowering a plant

you want to cut your plant down when your happy with the nug size and the trichomes turn a cloudy/amber color

happy growing!

i think ur asking if its wise to cutt down plant when the lights are off...but when there just about to turn back on..heard that wuz the best time..i havnt experimented..just stayed with the regiment..I go in 1hr or so lights come on and start hacking them down branch by branch. something to do with root retention while lighting is off..if i could reccommend something..dont feed them anything the last couple day, no water..theyll wilt by the time cutting is due..and theyll dry quicker

You should chop in the dark. The nutes and and everything are stored in the roots at night, during lights out. You don't want any of that in the buds, so chop right before the lights come on. You can also keep them in 48 hours of darknesss then chop.

I've heard mixed reviews, some say you don't need to, some say it's useless, others preach it.
