What the heck is this?

Was examining my plants today and among whitefly and spidermites I found this thing, I thought aphid but I couldn't see any legs.

Can anyone identify this little prick so I can figure out how to combat it?

Ya well then dont neem cause it isnt going to do anything. Neem scares bugs away from landing on your plant. If they get on there neem doesnt kill them. Mites will laugh at neem, then get drunk off of it, then fuck eachother silly, then drink some more of it when theyre done fucking and laying eggs on it. Dont turn all your white hairs brown with neem and soap when it isnt going to do anything for you. I dont know where you live in the world or id recommend a real bug killer. If you can get your hands on 1500 ladybugs youll be in good hands...especially in flower if you want to make bho with the trim.

I can't really see what the bug is because of.blurryness.. but go burn that leaf as to kill all those mite eggs on it.

Sorry I probably should have given some more information, plants are indoor cab grow, I'm pretty sure they've been infected since my mate gave em to me, I've had nothing but pest problems, I've kept em to a minimum by checking the plant every day but I think I'm past manually search & destroying the buggers.

I considered lady bugs but my mate said they'd suicide on my lights, I was using money spiders, had about 8 in there and they were doing well, but I think they left

Location is a place down under mate. I've grown for about 2 yrs now avoiding every pest except whitefly, luck was bound to run out haha. I'm not super worried about this grow since they were donated plants but I'd like to learn what these are before my NLx skunk and LSD seeds get here so I can combat em.

Can't quite make out what it is either but I'd guess a leafhopper or thrip...either way alien widow is right LADYBUGS!! If they die they die but they will work wonders for you! They are cheap and you will have probably more than you will need!
Another solution is Diaotenacious Earth made into a spray...it's organic plants love it and it kills any insect with hard body parts...so not to be used with ladybugs

Again I apologise for the pic, it didn't help my case much. It had no legs (that I could see under a mag glass) and looked like a green cornucopia shape.

Slammed it with some huge nute feeds after finally getting my ppm and ph meters to realize it had less than 100ppm and a ph of 4.6. Ph'ed water to 7.4 for the feed and gave em double dose of a generic bloom fert and haven't seen any signs of pests since. And my nugs almost doubled in size in 48 hrs.

My grows not what you'd call legal, even though it's all perso it's still a federal crime so trying to avoid visiting hydro shops personally as iv had a mate arrested after visiting the local hydro shop. Probably just coincidence but he went 5 yrs without an issue and then 2 weeks after visiting the shop the cops knocked on his door.

I'm well aware of the benefits lady bugs have and if worse comes to worse I'll have to bite the bullet and hit the hydro shop but for now it seems fixing the deficiencies and frequent manual searching is doing the trick.


Curious, do any caterpillar families weave a green cocomb (I know thats wrong but I haven't spelt it since 2nd grade haha)

these guys are onto it, lady bugs or mealybug destroyers and diatomaceous earth are great and there both organic

Are ladybugs helpful for most bugs? Any downside to them? Havnt seen many people with them on here, that Ive seen personally atleast.

The mess. Theres usually a bunch of bugs that die. In a small enclosed area theyre awesome though. I havent used em against thrips or gnats but mites dont stand a chance. Theyll last over two weeks in the fridge, just sprinkle them at the base of the plant every five or so days. Youll also get em in your house or shop if they escape. Ive had them have babies on the plants, its cute, but ugly, they look creepy when they hatch.
