what the heck is going on?

Bad advice. I have learned that when you are struggling dont kill off and start over. Use these plants to better your knowledge on growing. Even if the plants dont produce the most you gained more experience that will more than pay off in the future.

Btw, are you feeding them any nutes? If yes, then STOP. They are young and dont need it. Be patient. They are very young and they can be very mis leading in the beginning. As long as the temp, ph, and humidity is good right now, let em grow. If your new growth continues to be yellow, then you have a problem. Also dont put your lights up too high, You will stretch the hell out of them. Just my two...
they each are fed a half liter of collected rainwater, every other feeding there is one teaspoon of foxfarm growbig and big bloom. for the autoflower, it is given one liter of water every second day, and every other watering is given 1tsp big bloom, and 1tsp tiger bloom. every other nutrient cycle, i give 1tsp growbig as well.

the lights are about 12" away from the tops. the slight yellowing or burning on the younger plants is from handling leaves without washing my hands, covered in nutrient solution.
long story, but i was in a hurry. the plants are in good health, and are about to be cycled onto a flowering light schedule.

Have you considered using a couple of CFL's for the first weeks, then kick in the powerful HPS?
*shrug* i havent found it necessary.
i keep the seedlings in a homemade dome made from a sawed off 2 liter bottle.
spray the inside of the bottle down twice a day, and let that baby root. at that stage, i kept the lights about half a meter away.

Little confused here. If your plants are flowering that much, how are you still not in a flower light cycle.

im not following, navyfighter?
the plants have already sucked the nutrients out of the soil. they have to be fed even this modest amount to stay healthy. the bubblegum plant was a very sad panda until the nute schedule was implemented.
they have 2 more weeks of veg time anyhow. i have about that long left on the auto ak's prime growing time.
THAT plant will only be fed one more time, and flushed twice (once tomorrow, and then fed as part of it's normal schedule with the growbig), and once on the following monday (where i figure ill be harvesting that friday).

I just noticed you originally posted back in december, so i thought you were still in the seedling stage. My bad man. I should pay more attention to the dates posted.

to be clear, the flowering plant is the ak48 automatic, and the other two are photosensitive that i planted about a month or so again.
they just piggybacked the auto's ride is all.
the automatic is my 2nd attempt at growing. my first was killed by an extended move (also ak48 automatic).
