I think that cleaning is always good to do before you start a crop. I clean my rooms between every run. I don't repaint though. Cannabis pollen doesn't stay viable for an awful long time honestly. So I can see where both sides are coming from because seeds suck. Still, repainting is overkill IMO.

The 6 bigger ones are two 3pcs of Barney’s farm gorilla zkittlez and 8ball kush and the small 3 are kera seed blue cheese and there only 7-8 days behind the Barney’s strains (38 days from sprout vs 30) and in my opinion Barney’s runs great genetics but maybe that’s just me... day 13 flower in the most recent pics btw, stacking on pretty heavy too looking like sum arms for colas if I can picture things right .. but then again I can’t find kera blue cheese stats anywhere it looks as though they discontinued the strain.. 1 of 3 is gonna be 1 big ass nug for a plant I think lol gonna give a tiny lollipop to it tmrw to drive tha forth upwardth

I had a few nanners in my first grow that put out some pollen. I just sprayed everything down with plain water and haven't found a seed since. I'm pretty sure water's all you need, but I'd listen to Ren since he's got a lot more experience than I do.

I spray with bleach@ 15%, straight H2O2 and Neem at 2Tsp/gal in my sterilization after every cycle. Never had carry over anything.

Ok I'm gonna ask the question can anyone give a definitive answer how long does pollen actually stay viable for I've been hearing a wide range of answers from different websites?

The internet has told me that if you spray with water it ‘kills’ it. So humidity must hurt it, maybe heat too. Under optimal conditions, like in a temperature and humidity controlled chamber I have heard it lasts year(s).

yes sometimes its strain....white widow has all the thai-sativa genetics, a good version of WW is great to smoke but i can’t even remember how many times a WW plant has hermied for no reason, except its genetic predisposition to do so.
