Yea i live in Texas and everyone here pretty much speaks spanish as a second language almost. I know some,just enough to bullshit with my parents ranchhands.
Our state motto is turning into "Se habla Ingles"

And if that in any way offends you....well, for once i wasnt trying, and i didnt even mean to. But sorry if i did. Just had to add that because people are so touchy these days.

Excuse me for my ignorance but what does that mean? being from here we dont see much spanish.

personally i live an hour an a half from the border....my city has more mexican immergrants per capita then tax paying citizins...i know a little spanish but i refuses to speak it on the account that this is america an we speak english here...an if they dont wanna learn it then fuck em...

I dont care so much. The only thing i don't like is when you call your cell phone provider, and the representitive (ya, i know its spelled wrong. bite me) doesn't speak english. i know it doesnt make much sense, but i can understand another language better in person.

Its been like mid-90s most of the week. the heatindex is around 100. its not that bad yet, but we had a TON of rain this summer. if we get anymore my plants are fuckkkkked. i think it rained for like, 18 days straight or something.

OMG are you serious? Thats freaking horrible. Its like 95 everyday here, but its very humid, so you sweat as soon as you leave the house. which pisses me off! lol

Wow... we havent had rain in weeks. Or maybe like little 15 minutes showers, enough to get the roads slick. Have yall had anymore floods? i dont really watch the news, its depressing.

That sucks, your electric bill must suck in the summer. I just bought a house in the Philly area with no central air and I'm hating it everyday. I couldn't imagine 110 everyday...people must drop dead every summer.

It hasnt flooded in about 2 weeks. But it flooded (i live near the riverbottoms) several times this summer. its started raining again yesterday, but its just a few scattered showers.
