ur plants will freeze or get frozen if any lower u should be keeping your plants warm or even hotter at night maybe including a radiator with a timer for nighttimes at the moment ive got that problem and tryin to sort out the situation even maybe making some type of tubing that u can fill up with hot water so it acts as a radiator at night in the growroom or grow box

some strains of plant can take the cold but id suggest u find some sort of heating at night otherwise ur plants will end up in the bin ....

no,if it gets too cold itll stress your plants and make them stop growing.you dont really want the temps dropping below 65 f.i try to keep my temps no lower than 70 f and no higher than 80 f.but most of the time my temps are between 70-76.some ppl before harvest will expose their plants to cold temps to make their ladies purple up tho.

I dunno, I've heard this lots of times, but my plants drop down to about 50 degrees at times at night and it has never really had a negative impact. Not compared to letting it get to 105 degrees!

I would never let temps get that low, its my understanding that under 50 can actually stunt growth. I'd say at best you are probably hurting overall production in this case. Obviously some strains are more tolerant than others, getting that cold would probably be drastically detrimental to some grows.

Yeah, that's the problem with it. I may switch off my fans during the night period for awhile, at least until the latter stages. The night time temps around her just fell so damn drastically!

thats what i have and it seems to work good. it is hi(1500 watt) and low (750). it works good but you have to set it really low on the thermostat on low setting or it gets to hot they have a wide range before they shut off.
as for my orig post i went in when the lights came on and they looked great! really green and super purkey. gunna let em chill in dark, around 10 to 15 degrees c for another few nights and see what happens. will keep yall posted!

1500 watts? Fuck that....I've never had any problem because of 50 degree temperatures and I'll be damned if I'm going to burn 1500 watts trying to stop that from happening. I guess if I lived somewhere REALLY cold, but that sucks.

that heater is using more then a 1000 watt light easilly. try a heating pad to keep roots warm. lot cheaper
