What strains have the largest buds??

Is big bud really that noticably less potent or is it a matter of a small percentage that really cant be noticed??????:leaf:

Hey guys.....I just got done with a Serious Seeds AK47 and Nirvana PPP (Pure Power Plant) grow. It took me long and hard to figure out what strains to grow but those are the two I chose and I'm glad to see they are mentioned on here. Big bud ALWAYS gets mentioned but most always it comes with the tag "not the most potent".
My AK yielded almost 400g and PPP 330g. AK is KNOCK OUT!! smoke and PPP is smooth and piney tasting. Both are nothing less than AWESOME! in both yield and potency. AK won the bigger bud contest though.

I have just always wanted to grow the most ginormous, gigantasized bud ever....... And I will try to make a journal when I start,, at least after I figure out which strain will work for this project.......:fire:

Arjan's Ultra Haze will grow big, but it is almost pure Sativa, and will take like 13 weeks to flower. Plus it's not an easy plant to grow, definitely not for beginners. Big Bud takes 8-9 weeks to flower and a complete novice could grow it. Let the Big Bud grow an extra 3 weeks vegitatively and the grow time will still be shorter than the Haze and the harvest will be comparable. The two pics are my Big Bud plant. Grew it outside, so it flowered for two months before it started getting cold and I chopped her down. 8 weeks flowering, maybe 9 and I got a pound off of that crazy bitch! Big Bud is no slouch as far as potency goes, but the Haze is hands down MUCH STRONGER weed. Even if you harvest a Sativa on the early side you're gonna get that heavy, couchlock type of high. 3+ months is just a looooonnnnnggggg time to wait for a plant to finish up. For me anyway.

I suppose arjans ultra haze does have a very long flowering time. I'd probably go with critical mass myself. I've never grew out a super producer, Although white widow was good and My Afghani's I'm doing right now seem like they'll do well. I too am on the market for a huge producer at the moment also. Hows White Rhino for a producer?? Or Amnesia?? I'm not too sure.. I like the what I hear about the amnesia lately. gets the highest price in the coffee shops in the netherlands. Or Blueberry maybe??

Amnesia huh,,,,,,, I like the sound of that....... I would love to only grow one plant instead of having to grow and take care of 15 or 20,,, One big yeilder would last a long time and be a little easier to grow......

but if you grow lots you could do it quicker and still get lots of bud and all slightly different buzz

for biggest buds you have to go with big bud or critical mass. if you want a high yield commercial strain i recomend supergirl from nirvana-shop its high yield average 500 m2 sog method and flowers early in only 8 weeks fully mature

why do you get so many problems, i dont ph or use special foods or n e thing, they are weeds, pick a few easy strains keep them in small pots so you can feed and flush each day and away you go, what sort of probs you having?

I live in a very dry climate with almost 0 humidity so I need a lot of diferent devices to grow with,, so Im constantly checkin to see what is not working and what more or less my girls need...... bugs,,,, I have been dealing w/growin with bugs since I started over a year ago and Ive never found anything to completely get rid of them so I just keep them controlled........ ONE PLANT LESS PROBLEMS....i hope......:weed:
