I am a new grower and will be starting a grow here soon... I was just seeking advice about which strain to go with. I like body highs but would mind a hybrid plant. Theres soooo much out there tho. I like dense potent bud that breaks down real good so let me no if you guys have anything in mind. I was thinking super silver haze or purple power or crystal rain from 1stmarijuanagrowerspage...

Well, I would recommend an Indica dominant strain. Are you growing inside or outside?

What I might suggest is to go with individual beans that are low priced but from quality breeders for your first go. You can pick from a number of strains and purchase feminized beans so you have females and you can sample more variety and be better able to discover what you like the best and then later be able to know what to buy in full packs.
An example could be:
The Church – Green House Seeds - $4.84
Train Wreck – Green House Seeds - $7.18
Blue Cheese - Big Buddha - $7.28
White Widow – Seedsman - $7.19
Skunk #1 - Sensi Seeds - $5.94
Cheese - Big Buddha - $7.25
Super Skunk – Sensi Seeds - $8.36 (it is described as having rare distinction of being one of the only cannabis strains that may require more experience to smoke than she does to grow.)
Cheese – Big Buddha - $7.25
Etc.
The point is you have variety and you learn what you like and what produces well grown in your system and you have variety and you learn that faster than by buying whole packs of 5 or 10 beans at a time.
Maybe that is not for you but it is not a bad way to go.

where there's a will there's a way, heheh. but yes your right.
A first time grower should stick with a single strain. I recommend Northern Lights. http://www.hempdepot.ca/seeds/dr_atomic/Atomic Northern Lights.htm
NL5 is an easy to grow, potent, stays short and low odor. Dr Atomic's is supposed to be the best one available.
difficult ? depends on your gardening aptitude.
