what state, what country, how many plants, and what was the outcome of the case

in any good business move you have to weigh your reward vs. risk factor. is your reward high enough for your risk. find about your laws in your state. find other cases that had abou the same thing you plan to do. see what happened in those cases. if they had 150 plants and only got 5 years then if you only plan on growing 5 plants you might get 30 days in the county and a fine and lawyer cost. i know what i am doing in my state....at least i think i do... but if you have no priors and no gang affiliations and they dont think you ae going to put the mexican cartel out of business then do you think they are going to put you in a prison which cost between 80 and a 100K a year to house an inmate for 5-10 plants... risk vs reward. if the reward is great and the risk is low then you should always do it, even if it is illegal. but good luck to you...

it's not dumb. I think most of the people who do this for a living aren't online. And if you have served time then you aren't growing. But i could be wrong. I would like to know the outcome too. Even in my state there have been three HUGE outdoor grows busted, 1000's of plants seized but they don't give the sentences of the convicted.

most people are not get time for growing unless its extreme growing like a whole house or a couple hundred plants outdoor and even then your only looking at very little time, and just so you guys know you get more time if you try to destroy your stuff when there coming in or in the process

I think if a person is fairly bright, has no priors, isnt a minority, doesnt live in TX, can scrap up 10k for a lawyer jic, can keep his mouth shut, isnt greedy and has people he can trust to sell his crop for him then doing this sort of thing is actually a good idea.
