What silent fans to use with LEDs?

Im designing a stealth grow dresser, its like 5 feet tall 2 feet wide and 3 feet long. I am going to use 600 watts leds. I want it to be as silent as possible and im looking for a fan to exhaust air. My lamp can deal with no vents and be fine but the smell is what i worry about. Whats the best intake fan for my setup?

if you are worry about the smell, ... I don't think that you can get away without a inline fan and a carbon filter... you could buy a 4'' with a speed controler and run it at the lowest speed but it's still noisy. If you were to go this route I recommend using bungee cord to hang the inline fan, will help tremendously with the noise. Otherwise, you could seal you cabinet and run home made co2 in it but you will have to deal with high humidity, and really heat with the 600W (my dresser runs at 33degrees with the fan off and 135W actual draw LED...) And for humidity, I just tried DAMP RID or something like that from home depot in my tiny dresser and it doesnt cut it. So I am using the noisy inline fan again now. For the heat though something I wanted to try is to put a glass between the plants and your light, and you put a few holes at the top of the cabinet so that the air around the light is never in contact with the air around the plants. Anyway you look at it, ... I think it's next to impossible to have a 600W silent cab ;) , you can buy silencer for the inline fan but then it adds up $$$ I would not recommend doing the computer fan because they are noisy anyway and kind of useless... plus it doesnt help your odour problem. Good luck!

Noise is tolerable to an extent, i am planning to have it next to my refrigerator since it is already noisey. I like the idea of hanging the inline fan. Will definately incorporate that. I dont have alot of money to blow on a controller becuase its just a personal grow and only 2 plants. Im not worried about heat becuase even if all fans are off the most the temps will be is 80 or less.

Look at the S&P TD series fans. I have the TD-140 cooling a hood, and it's super quiet. The Can Fan 4" (regular model, not the HO model) might work well for you too...it's quiet but rather expensive. Either of these fans will allow you to run a small carbon filter to reduce smell. But more important than that, they will draw fresh air into your grow room, which your plants will appreciate.

I was in the same boat as you were a while back. I was going to get a S & P TD200x but I went with a Sunleaves Windtunnel inline fan instead. I opted for the 6 inch even though i only needed a 4 inch max. I stealthly run my ducting to my attic where the fan blows through a Phresh filter. I have 4 plants to grow, perfect temp control, almost silent operation inside a closet in my home. A fan controller is not all that expensive to invest into either. Look into Speedster fan controllers.

get a silent fan or find the produce on newegg or something. Then get aquarium carbon and like some pleated filter or some other filter material that will hold the carbon well, and make your own little can and duct tape it to the fan. and place it inside the box to circulate the air inside only. That will help clean the smell in the air if the box is sealed.

If the power supply is outside the grow space; the leds don't dissapate too much heat; so if it is big enough it may be enough to dissipate the heat and keep it cool. Depends on the heat transfer of the cabinet/box and the amount of heat the leds make.
