Hello everyone, I have my first plant growing for almost 5 months, it is 8 weeks into flowering, I don't know the exact strain, but judging by the looks it is sativa dominant. I have fed it good and kept it very nice.

But I have a problem, I thought letting it flower for a week or 2 more, but the next week says heavy rain showers all week long. I am concerned about this. Should I harvest it? The trichomes appear cloudy, 1 in 100 are clear, and 1 in 500 m. I know that THC is not water soluble, but here where I live, the air is very polluted, so rain comes not so clear here.

The calyxes seem very developed, some white pistils, some pistils are gone, and some others are red and brown.

I'd leave harvest for another couple weeks if you can. The hairs aren't all that brown yet. Also. They swell right up during their last few weeks.

They are like a can of cola wide, I don't believe they'll swell up more!!!
And I would very well leave them but, I am afraid of some sort of chems on the rain that might dissolve the trichs and THC

It still needs a couple of weeks. If you are worried about not having clean pot, wash it in a weak H2O2 solution when you pick. Rinse good in straight water, and put a fan on it the first few hours of drying.

Looks real good though.

I live in south-eastern Europe, we still have coal energy!!! And many other pollutants. 90% of the houses use wood stoves, cars are 50% of them older than the 90's.

Like has been said you can do a light h202 wash as far as clean I g the buds of whatever airborne pollutants you might have. Thc isn't water suble but some terpenes are. The biggest issue with leaving it out in extended rain is the problem of but mold (botrytis). The buds look like they have enough development to go through that is gamble on it and leave them it out longer. It comes down to what is going to cost you more, cutting it a bit premature and not loosing hardly anything, if anything at all to mold, but missing some of the weight from it finishing, or letting it ripen and having better quality buds but maybe less from mold.

I guess as one said on the thread about: Some buds ripening faster. I will do multiple harvests. Leaving some main flowers on and cutting the first lower part before it was FIMMED.

I don't know the answer to that. Is there a government weather agency that could tell you what is in the rain? Knowing what's in it would let you know if you need to worry or not.

Naah we don't have those things, we are Afrika in Europe practically LOL.
You might be able to get some information from trying a few different search terms. I'd be surprised if there wasn't an organization like the World Health Organization that has published air quality reports from your region.

I'll try but it is unlikely. What about rain knocking down trichs?
THIS IS THE AIR REPORT!!! "Air pollution such as CO2, SO2, NO2, O3, Pb, dust, smoke, dioxin and particulate matter are emitted from the plant and contribute significantly to the bad air" WTF Pb!!!
