What should I do

So I have a buddy who grows for me. We've kept it pretty small, a total of about 1,000 watts (3 315w LEC's). This is in a non-legal state. He just moved to a new place.its got a nice finished basement that were gna grow in. I'm going to build a frame on some 2x4's to keep the plants off the cement. Put a dehumidifier in there to keep humidity down.

My question is this portion of basement we want to grow in is about 10 feet from the fusebox. There are a couple 120's nearby but it's an older basement so it's 15 amp breakers I'm fairly sure. I want to bring an electrician to wire some 240's so I can run 3-4k in lights off those and use the 120's to run pumps and fans, etc. my question is what do I tell an electrician I'm doing so he doesn't get suspicious and refuse to do the job or even report me to the law?

Also I am no electrician so How big of a breaker I should put in tied to the 240's so I can comfortably run those lights? Thanks for any advice RIU!!

Had my brother do my space years ago. He's an electrician... He explained going to 240 wasn't all that helpful... I have no idea if he is right or not -
He put in dual 15 amp breakers and ran all new wiring through conduit. Has run up to 4400k no problem on 4 breakers that dual out to other parts of house.

I am confident wiring the outlets and running wiring I've just never hooked it up to a fusebox before...

Anyone else? What do I tell an electrician so they don't get suspicious? Is it a good idea to have a growroom near a fusebox in a house we don't own? The landlords never come over but in case something would blow out and fusebox needs to be looked at there would be a 10x10 grow room just feet away..... Idk

simple with all the new tech u are setting up for a major tech over haul in the house .......u need something that can handle servers and cooling system ....2 years to build but the resale of the house will double and u get to live in a house like bill gates

guy gives u a good job and deal on the work u might call him back for the complete upstairs upgrade wiring

u can ask the guy to give u a 2nd box that would just be for the lower floor tell ......u can run the line to the box and sockets yourself (just double check code and go one better for safety).....tell him u need so many breakers on 240 point out the wires u run for those sockets .......he will wire them in sign off on the work and u should be good for insurance reasons

or the classic fall back

it is a growing room for something exotic that needs a environment that your area does not have
orchids,pepper,fruit plants,berries.....all need speical care/areas to grow correctly......peppers are the easiest and a defense later if needed

if u do this u need to sell it ........no stoner stuff out but alot of misdirecting stuff like books on the subject pepper lights stuff like that ....then u just talk about that subject when they are around (reming never to offer them any because it is so hard to find u make your own now)

your telling the truth about it but u are misleading them on what it is really going to be used for
