Hey guys, just need some advice on this plant. It looks to me that she has gone in to flowering.
Strain: Royal Queen -Quick one
Auto flowering.
Feminised.
I currently have her under my T5 CFL cool white.

Should I put her under my 2700k warm yellow CFL now? If not when's the perfect time to change over?

Here's some photos of her, not sure if you can see the white pistils but they are there. Sorry about quality of photos.

Thank you guys for taking the time to read through.

The reason its flowering is because its an auto. If you want to decide when to flower, you need to get photoperiod seeds. As for lighting, I mainly use HID, so I cant comment.

Yeah I understand that. I'm just wondering if I should use the 2700k cfl now (reddish/orange spectrum) because It has just started flowering :/, or continue with the 6400k cfl (cool white spectrum)?

Thank you for the reply :).

Personally I would switch. Some would say use the same one for another week or even mix a combo of them both?

Ok great thanks for the advice might wait a couple days then switch them over or combine them. Only reason i haven't switched over because I was wondering if I left the 6400k light for a bit long would that help my veg growth? Not sure if that makes sense to you I'm pretty new to this.:peace:

Mix it up, try different things, its the only way to learn. That's what ive been doing. I use a 125 CFL for seeds/cuttings and then after 2 weeks ive started using my 400w Metal Halide to veg and a 600w HPS to flower.

Ok great, yeah I'm definitely investing in some HID lights soon! :)! Thanks for all your help. I'd say by Tuesday I will have put the 2700k cfl in the tent.

no worries, how big is your tent? HID is all the go for flowering, unless you have big bucks for a LED light

1.2x1.2x2m yeah I just need something that is good and isn't real expensive to run. I still have to do more research on lighting. I'm also happy to spend a reasonable amount of money on equipment if it's going to be well worth it.

Mate you def need hid for this type of space. Spend money on good ventilation / filter / cooltube and 600w Do it right once, rather than pay more correcting things you should have done from the start.

Yeah this is just temporary, as I'm going over seas in a couple weeks for 5 weeks then when I'm back going to set it up properly. So HID lights are reasonably priced to run? I live in Australia and it's a bit of a stealth grow as it's illegal here. I only have one plant at the moment due to the reason I'm going overseas but have seeds ready for when I'm back :).
Thanks once again for your helpful advice!

Add more cfls and use blue and red. mix your spectrum for best results in my opinion and experience. Add as many lights as you can for flowering all around the plant. Adjust daily
