I've got one 3 leaf seedling from bagseed and I'm curious as to if I should flower and then keep it sround by going right back to veg or don't flower and just take clones but how would I know what I'm cloning if I don't know the sex?! I've got ideas as to what to do after the sex is figured out but that's my roadblock. Thanks guys

Take a clone or two (more if your first cloning experience) and flower the original. That will tell you if you can keep the clone as a mom. Or flower One of the clones right after cutting.

NEVER flower a plant and put it back into veg! it streses the plant out BAD. thats a great way to get a female to turn hermafridite on you...also.. its realy not recomended to clone a clone..you want your mother to be from seed.. now that ive combated the bad advice given befor mine ill answer your question.....first keep veging the plant till its a lil stronger when you take citting you want to be able to leave about half of the plant in tact or more... as soon as you have cloned and the clones have taken up good roots youll want to flower the clones as soon as you can to figure out the sex of the plant. this is time consuming but growing is a game of pacients you just cant rush nature. hope you come out with some lovly ladys.

We may have forgot to mention the plant being large enough to safely take a clone, which should be pretty much a given, but other than that, the advice given is sound and tested. Never flower and after sexing go back into veg?? Never clone from a clone??? Seriously. More actual knowledge or even a tiny bit of research would of told you, you are wrong on both counts. If the plant in question has unstable genetics, then the possibility goes up on the stress. As for the cloning. It would take many "generations" of clones for any effects to be noticeable.
Edit
The bigges factor with cloning from a clone, is it carries the original plants age. Nothing at all is changed from the original plant.

Yes you can clone a mother off seedlings and then mother off the clone, clone a mother off the clone so on and so on re vegging the clone may set it back a couple of weeks but what does that matter when you have a female from seed to flower...

just wait some plants dont get there full genetics till a couple weeks so that 3 leaf could change in near futre to all 5 leafs or more ive had a master kush(not 100% on strain) that had 13 leaf blades per fan leaf it was so awesome then it turned male :(

I'll be uploading pics on this because I read 3 leaf seedling means good genetics all the leafs are at 7 but my thing is I've got two other plants under so should I take a clone when I'm ready to flower the others and just pitch the clone

I always pu a plant in 12 12 to sex and wait until i get a little bud then re vedge you end up with a huge bush it will throw branches like crazy

I always take a couple clones a week or two before flowering just in case something goes wrong with my clones that way i got at least one more shot at cloning before flower.

It doesn't mean anything. I have clones that start out as 3 leafers all the time.
