what should i do ??????? $$$$$$1700 or build

im a new grower i was wondering if i should just buy a pre made set up at my local hydro store they want 1700 dollars for every thing a 4x4x6 reflective tent two fans ballast 1000w hps & 1000w mh 4x 4 resivore 4x 4 growing tray rock wool cubes pots ducting air pump hose ect. i mean every thing is there is it worth it?????


moneys not the problem i just want to know if im getting ripped off can i get the same thing cheaper some where else. i new to the hydro store thanks for your help

Well, they are buying the stuff elsewhere and packaging it and marking it up 50% or more. There's your answer.

it sounds like it's about worth it, but I hate paying retail, and not having many choices.

just yesterday someone posted a used $3000 setup going for a grand on craigslist

Just like the guy said they buying from elecrical company , theres lots in the phone book, u can buy the bulbs, ballasts, electrical wire and sockets all from electrical supply stores just look in the phone book, i wouldnt buy it all at once cuz they'll clue on to what ur up to. However on the other hand if u got the money and ur new and dont know anything about electrical , then why not blow the 1700 and learn something. its not money wasted if ur getting knowledge and besides like the other guy said , check out craigslist and u can probably find a deal.
