What percentage of average joes know what a flowering marijuana plant smells like?

I would like to hear your guess for the percentage in a NON medicinal state.

Think of it like this, 100 people walk down a hiking path they all get a whiff of something. How many say "hey someone is growing weed nearby".

Just curious as to how your answers compare to what I think it would be.

I think less people would know what a flowering plant smells like than someone actually smoking it.
I say maybe 4 outta ten people would know it's a growing pot plant.

yea... i'd get em 2 lol i would make sure its 15-20 ft away and hope for the best..... Ever smell a skunk? (the animal) Relocate it near your site and ppl will know what the smell is.

Just dont grow the craziest smelling funk skunk and you will be fine, some plants don't smell till your right on top of them and others stink to high heaven.

Id say about 20% of people over here wouldnt know what weed smells like, hash was much more common years back compared with today. Proper herb only hit here a few years back, before you would just get the odd bit of brick.

most peoples dealings with pot is small amounts of commercial bags and they they smell nothing alike. They would most likely think a skunk had sprayed.

Yes I know someone who has grown marijuana before would know what it was..... But that doesn't fit "average Joe".

I was thinking more like 10%

And the strain I have isn't supposed to smell too bad according to other grow journals.

I was just curious.

50 percent of people could probably tell what it is.. The other 50 percent are yelling "RUN THERES A MOTHER FUDGIN SKUNK!!!"
