So i have been looking all over the internet and cant find anything that gives me a definitive guide on what levels are needed for both macro and micro nutrients for a hydroponics setup, i only ask because i have a commercial hydroponic mix that i can alter the NPK level in it and it has all the micro minerals that are needed but i dont know how much the plants will need, like how much calmag, iron, sulfer, etc a plant will need for a pure hydroponic system, any help would be appreciated.

If this is your first hydro you want to go with an all inclusive hydroponics nute. General Hydroponics Flora 3 part series I have been using for 10 years and it has always done me right. You can get the nutrient strength tables from the GH site. You will tweak it a little to your own plants. I wouldn't get into the whole adding of micros for awhile, you need to get a few grows under your belt with normal hydro nutes before you start really exploring.

I use the canna line and it works really well with in my dwc...

I use hard water and it works very well but the best part is it has a very stable ph buffer.
I throw my nutes in, and it will always adjust itself to 5.9...

I recommend there products for anyone not using RO water.

IME hydro is much easier than soil best of luck to you in your first hydro grow man.
