What nutrients are you using?

But for hydro in my opinion is painful organic, organic would work better in soil in my opinion.
exactly, that's why AN made a chelated organic nute line. It's made for hydro systems. Same consistency as synthetic nutes

I have been using "Cutting Edge Solutions" they have been working very well and for all three nutrients (1 gal ea) I paid about $65.00 at local hydroponics shop.

I have made a few types of systems and the only one I saw a big problem in was my "EBB & Flow" setup where I was seeing a lot of salt build up in the tray.

Advanced 2 Part and a few of their additives. Plus Botanicare Cal/Mag Plus and Technaflora Thrive Alive B-1 Red. Superthrive for clippings, transplants, and as needed.

Anyone here mix their own? I bought the lucas formula GH just so I could get the chemical list for mixing up my own fertilizer.
I basically reversed the Lucas Formula, 3:2 Micro:Bloom for veg and flip that to 2:3 for bloom. Great with Hempy Buckets

Advanced nutrients is garbage flat out. Expensive, and there's several articles online about how their nutrient mix always comes up vastly different in actual vs advertised NPK ratios. Plus 3 states won't approve it for medical marijuana usage, due to Advanced Nutrients using cheap sources for their minerals. I basically just want to avoid smoking arsenic and mercury with my weed.

Id be cautious on switching nutes mid flower. Organic nutes take time to break down whereas synthetics are ready to be absorbed right away. Throw a reply on the post Al B Fuct. been growing for over 30 years hes can help ya with that.

I'm useing Chemicult, its an agricultural hydrophonic feed.
Fucking love the stuff, Less than $3 for half a kilo, dosage is 3 5ml teaspoons per 5 litre water, so it last a loooong time.
My plants are honestly looking better than my last few soil grows so far.
Medium at the moment is coarse vermiculite and one plant that is growing faster than the rest is now in a bigger pot with some cocobrick and verm.

Yeah man I was worrying about changing the nuts in the mid flower, but I did that one week before I cleaned all my system and add just plain water for 12 hours after that I changed again the water from my reservoir, and I add all the nutes from foxfarm except the BIG BLOOM after 6 days I changed again the water from my system clean everything again I washed my roots because of the big bloom they were stucked together it was a mess and after 12 hours again I washed one more time change the water and add the Dyna-gro my PPM is 680 I chose started with 50% only.

After almost 24 hours what can I say?
Just after the 2 hours I started to see some progress the plants seemed happy, Now after the sleep time the color of the plants are amazing and my system still clean probably never I will need to clean again in the middle of the cycle!
I add some drops from dyna-gro GROW to my clones and the color of the leaves today morning and now are amazing!!

I really I do not know if FOX farm is just a crap product, or if I am the dumbest guy in earth because I spent almost 1 year with fox farm, and I did not see any good results always my leaves were burned. in fact I believe that is because of my system, always I've tryed create more water moviment because of the nutes maybe in others systems or soil could work very well!!

Just my experience and until now I am so happy with my choice to change ASAP the nutes

Thanks everybody!!

Here we go again. Another newb who's never even used AN just regurjitating what he reads. Pathetic. Go check these two grows out and talk to some people who actually use AN. Stop poppoing into threads and regurjitating shit information you heard on some website or dude's grow journal. I hate posers.

yeah AN is definatley a heavy hitter in the game, phillip is right that kid probably never used AN talking that much crap on it. It works really well and gives cannabis what it needs when it needs it. There are many plant specific nutrients all over the market, not just for cannabis but for many other flower types and vegetables. Every plant is different.

I don't think that's true. Actually I'm pretty sure it's not. They got bustd in Oregon for their labels being off but everyone's labels are off. The only reason they got busted was cause they are the only nutrient company designed for marijuana that is actually approved by the department of agriculture in Oregon. They got some seal or stamp of approval their. I can't remember the whole story. But they were the only ones who got it and since they did they were subject to some serious scrutiny. I would bet good money that AN is not banned from use in any state.

I'm not here to push AN on anyone. I've never recommended it. Ask around bro; I've helped tons of guys on here set up grows and walked them through growing...never recommended AN. On several occassions I've flat out told guys not to use it since they were newbs. I just don't like it when people who have no experience with it just spew crap they heard on the forum or when growers who could burn their plants with water and Cal/Mag cause they don't know what they are doing come on here and talk shit cause they are posers who just like to say what other people are saying. There are tons of dudes with legitimate claims as to why they don't like AN. Just like those who hate FF, GH, BC, growing organic, brewing teas, etc... Gotta use what works for you and makes you feel comfortable.

Sad. Yes the same old AN debate... I used AN Sensi Line with PH perfect it was less then perfect, kind of sub-par in my opinion and compared to what I achieve with the 1/2 price of DynaGro line. Keep believing...

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I've run AN side by side with FF, GH, and BC and it's produced better buds and higher yields. You have to do what's best for you in your grow room. If you get better results with Dyna then go for it. I don't get better results with anythig I have tried yet. I think most people that talk shit about AN either have never tried it or don't really understand NPK ratios and dialing in their strains ppm so they end up under fertilizing or burning the shit out of their plants. Feel free to stick with Dyna cause I'm sticking with AN.

Man you said everything!! Such as my words, I believe everything depends about your system and experience. Some nutes will work better and depends about your experience!!

I just have experience with FF and I learned in my system the organic stuff just make a mess but I believe is more about my system, Dyna-dro is working much better and I just have 2 days of experience!!

No offence man, but all that stuff including AN is overpriced nonsense.

Hey, I'm using the GH 3 Part and so far (45 days into Flowering) my results are insane. Mix that with a good line of bloom enhancers and your set. I'm using PlantLife
