Everybody has there own methods and formula they like to use! mines very simple. Usually just using a basic A and B nute once im 2 weeks into veg (in the big pots under the 600w bulbs!) and maybe a little root stim in a guano mix soil. once into flower i switch to a bloom A and B and after 1 week add bud candy every 3rd feed. For the Final 3 weeks I use nothing but bloombastic to really fatten up my buds and get them nice and dense!! Im not saying my way is the best way and would like to hear which nutes and how people use them to get the most from there plants?! I want quality bud but I am after big yields! who's the man with the plan?:leaf::lol:

Sounds complicated man.. I give mine mirical grow plant food for the veg life and dyna grow bloom during flowering and I can't complain, messing with the plant too much can be more harmful then good just my opinion

Bio Bizz 'Algamic' and 'Grow' and 'Bloom Cal/mag' in veg.

All of the same plus Bio Bizz 'Bloom' in flower.

I base relative doses on what the plant is telling me.

Well I'm pretty simple. I use a mg soil. No food till 4-6 weeks. After first n last transplant into 40%perlite and 60%organic mix w/ no added nutrition I use "orchid bloom booster" 11-35-15. Does well in flower. Getting close to harvest I give her a kick off "bloom plus"10-54-10. Afterwards straight water for two weeks then 24hrs of dark then chop chop ^_^

I use CANNA AQUA VEGA A and B during both veg and flower.

It has an NPK of 6-3-8.

I also use RHIZOTONIC, CANNAZYM, LIQUID SILICON, CANNA PK13/14, CANNA MONO CALCIUM and CANNA MONO MAGNESIUM.

I grow in coco perlite mix.

Last harvest of some cheese under my 400w got me 439g dry herb.

The only difference between veg and flower for me is I add some PK1314 for 1-2weeks.

Thats some quality looking bud! On my last two previous grows I grew cheese! did you lollipop or top your plants at all? I usually leave them to nature but thinking of lollipopping a couple this time just to satisfy my curiosity! Thanks everyone for your replys!

Those perticular plants were given to me at 5" tall.

I vegged them for 3 weeks. During that time I topped them and selected 4 branches to keep and removed everything else.

I strip plants back a little. I perform some LST during stretch.

Here let me show you my current grow with a before and after trimming.

Before

After

After a little LST

The link in my sig is the grow with these plants.

I'm a firm believer in getting as much plant within the optimum sweet spot of the lights penetration.

I rarely exceed 2ft tall with plants. I try to keep around 1.5ft of growth from the top down. Anything below this 1.5ft down from the top gets removed during the last week of veg and the first 2 weeks if 12/12.

I use a 400w now. If I were using a 600w I would keep my plants under 3ft with around 2-2.5ft of growth from the top down.

IMO by doing this popcorn buds or small fluffy buds are pretty much non existent.

after using biobizz grow + bloom and being not happy of deficiencies and element lock outs, i went with grow food only with cal/mag supplement and some liquid seeweed. after wndless hours of reading books and experienced growers threads now i dont use anything high P at all and so far, enjoying the results.
for biggest crop i'd suggest get something of npk value 3-1-2/ 3-1-4, cal mag supplement and some trace elements. low P through the grow as growing indoors its rarely a deficiency, high N and K, cal mag from 3-4th week till the end, sulfur supplement in flower since it gets the plant more resinous. NO flushing! ever! unless overnfert and plant would die otherwise, DO NOT let any leaves die off in flower, no "last two week stop feeding" thing, as it only causes stress to plant and results in smaller yield. 2 part harvesting instead of lolipopping, cause after harvesting main shoot u would be surprised how well lower part fattens in additional 1-2 weeks due to auxins redirection and more light appearance. that would be pointers im trying to follow. find what's best for you. read how much people yield with similar setups, if ur doing better, don't change anything ;)

very helpful pics jondamon, nice one mate! Im definately going to try this method with atleast half of my crop this time round! I would of loved to of done a second harvest last time round simisimis but I can get abit jittery around harvest time due to the large amounts of money involved haha! I have no doubts what your saying is right tho and the bottom of the plant would fatten up nicely with the extra light and nutrition with the top colas removed! just dont know if i have the arse for it ha! Cant wait to get this one started! gonna go with 15 cheese plants under 2 600w hps! gonna lollipop and top half and compare to how the others do under the same light on the other side of the tent! Not done one since last year and its been like a part of me has been missing haha!

well that double harvest is something you get additionally, it does not double your crop or anywhere close to that, so it's a personal preference over lollipopping, since you harvest slightly more. the main weight I'd say comes from not letting any lower leaves die off/turn yellow but keeping them green instead. Also temps 70-80F during daytime. Some studies revealed that going above 80F potency drops. It differs per strain, some get 50% less of THC or some only 9% so you might notice or might not. Again, these are the things I've read and wanted to share.

Good luck man

I run FloraNova base nutrient with Aptus Fasillator, Bloomboost, Peak Boost Finale Boost, Ecozym, Startboost and Mass Boost. I RO my water so I also add CAMG back to my water as well.. I use the Aptus line per the instructions which changes from week to week. Basically you use the Fasillator every watering. I use Startboost during Veg and first week of flowering. I use Ecozym once a week. I use Bloomboost from week 2 of flowering until the last week when I am flushing. I use the Peak Boost from week 3-6 of flower. I use the Finale Boost week 5-start of flush. I use their Mass Boost during weeks 3, 5 and 7. Been using the aptus line now for about 2 years. I was using Canna before that. I switched to the Flora Nova about 6 months ago for base nutrient..

Sounds like a bit of a science!! It always sounds complicated to someone else though. I like the sound of the start boost during the veg stage. How do you feel it affects the plants? I usually keep it very simple during the veg stage but I definately have room to add in a little boost nute if its worthwhile??

I really love the startboost. I used H&G roots excel forever until i tried the aptus line. I really love the whole line. I have super healthy fuzzy root zones. The beneficials in that stuff smell horrible but it works great. The biggest stand alone difference i see in the startboost was how crazy roots grew on clones. 5 days after transplant, they have roots that use to take me twice as long to develop.
