What lighting should i use for this?please answer

im think ing of getting a 400w mh for veg and 400w hps for flowering will that be ok or should i get 250w?

i would get a 400w duel spectrum hps in a cool tube, and use it for flower and veg

I have that same tent in 39" x 39" x 72" with a 600 HPS and heat buildup is an issue even with a air cooled hood and a 220 cfm running on full.




The limiting factor here is the heat. If you use a sealed hood with air venting to the outside like the pictures above, and keep the room cool, you might be able to get away with a 400. I'm thinking a 250 watt may be the biggest you can use in that tent without heat stressing your plants.

is a squirel cage fan ok to use for extracting air??

Yes squirrel cage will work fine for 250 watt, but get a decent CFM rating because the tent is small.

does anyone know how much a squirrel cage fan and a 250w light will cost ??
