1000 watts ?

I read some were that all you needed was 74 watts per plant, so I thought that a 600 watt would be perfect for 8 plants.

I was looking into getting a hood that could hold one MH and one HPS light, but i see now that they have bulbs that are both MH and HPS, you just need to hit a switch to change it.

Can i skip the CFL and just us MH then switch to HPS ?

well they say 50 watts per


but you have 8 buckets. those need to be spaced out

general rule of thumb when it comes to HID lighting is:

2x2 for 400watts
5x5 for 600watts
8x8 for 1kwatts


i couldnt find my chart....but someone passed that info on to me!

Do you guys think a 1000 watt is enough to raise susspision ?
