What kind of job do you have?

Reason I ask is...How do you juggle work and not have to worry bout random drug tests? I guess I ask this because I seriously dont know what I want to do, and I was just going to see if any of your jobs would be something I would be interested in, although I am not going to base my career on being able to smoke, it would still be nice to not have to worry about it.

-I've been dry 2 months, been job searching and now tomorrow I'm taking a drug test to work at wally world as a cashier, and I cannot wait. I already have a joint rolled to smoke on the way home.

most jobs don't do this, I've already eliminated pet zoo's warehouse as an option because they enforce randoms. and I need a damn job too.

Yeah, I have been alllll over NWA looking for jobs and nothing. Then out of the blue the one fuckin place I dont want to work calls. So gotta do it. And props for living in Alaska, I went there last year during Salmon Frenzy, and I'm definitely moving there.

ah man not wally world. they're the devil. if you want a more smoker friendly place try restaurants. thats basically all that works there any way. i dont think ups screens either. ive worked there for seasonal work twice and they didn't screen. of course it was only for about two months also. but i did have a buddy that was actually employed and he said he didn't get screened. and they also have tuition assistance if/when you go to college. but they only have two shifts: early as fuck, and late(4-8 am 5-10pm). i'd go with the restaurant tho. no better place for a stoner. the discount on food is pretty good too. i know at outback you get half off.

I worked at Arbys and yes I loved my smoke breaks by the trash can hahahaha. I loved getting high and working the slicer then eating alllll the bacon and pickles, then cooking more bacon and getting more pickles from the walk in. Funny thing is once I got a little too trashed and I wrapped a wrap wrong and my manager was like, Dude, I know your a stoner, you know your a stoner, and you cant even wrap???? I was in shock at first but then the laughter overwhelmed me. I plan on working 40 hrs at wally then like 20 at fast food. As long as I dont get hurt at wal mart they wont test again after pre employment. -and i know its the devil but I have got to get some green comin in so I can get real green consumed.

yea man them trash run smokes are the best. i never worked at fast food tho. its cool if you're with a good group. sometimes you got the morning smoke, sometimes they do, sometimes no one.

I worked with a shit ton of high school girls and it was high school ten fold. I smoked in the walk in freezer once lol. I only had one friend there that i knew from the college and we ended up bein smoke buddies for a while but he was paranoid to the point where i was getting paranoid so that had to stop.

try getting in a fine dinning restaurant like outback or ruby tuesday. less of a high school presence. more college maybe but thats generally the servers. in my experience any way. heck maybe even culinary school and head the whole kitchen.

I wish I could be a server because I actually like entertaing the guests but I know I'd be a cook, seeing as tho I'm a male lol. I dont see many waiters any more.

Did you know when the tests were or was it just one random per year? And congrats and pushin through!

It was kind of stupid, they were in October every year, but a random day in October.

used to be a jack of all trades: did some handyman work, customer service, sales, labor, fast food when i was younger, bussed at a restaurant (as blazin said, restaurant jobs are the shit!)...

now, a recession casualty and discouraged worker, i grow and accept donations. it is great to never punch a clock and to be your own boss. i am the toughest boss i've ever had, too.

most server and bartender jobs are not hiring without experience nowadays though...i've been considering bartender's school myself for a little extra spending money, but not sure that would get me in the door.

i use to work at a qualitest drug warehouse. they did random tests but were so easy to pass. its some kind of saliva test and they give you a cup of water before you put the cotton in your mouth and all you do is hold some water in the jaw part of your mouth under the tongue and put the cotton there and bam. clean every time.

dude those swabs are bs I quit for a week before my last job, and then I found out I could have taken it high off my ass, I was pissed. I wonder if they designed them to pass potheads into jobs, or if they tested the thc detection on like pure thc or something, because when I had an accident on the forklift I passed one and had been doing a bunch of bong hits earlier that day, thats not the reason I had an accident though lol and this other guy that worked there was smoking a blunt in the parking lot before his swab test and passed.

funny thing is, the guy that told me how to beat it was one of those holiness church guys. but yea i guess those things aren't too effective for pot.

dont really get drug tests here in the UK. never had one in my life.
i work in admin for a security guard company.
i think you only get tested in the UK if you are working with sports, medical care and most goverment jobs. im not to sure though. never herd of anyone i know getting a random drug test.
In the US do you get drug tests for most jobs or something? just curious

You say you've been looking all over NWA. Is that NorthWest Arkansas? I'm not too far from there myself.
