yah, the whole bee thing is kinda scary to me as well.. whoever would have thought that some shit like this would have happened.. i'm sure not everyone likes bee's, but they surely are needed for pollinating plants and the like... sure hope that they can get the whole thing figured out and straightened out asap... i listen to stern a lot, and he's always going on and on about the loss of the bee's..

bees are vital to plant evolution. i wonder what will happen evolutionarily after(if) they disappear. obviously this wont destroy the world, but i think plant life may change pretty drastically afterwards. just a thought

yah, i agree.. i was watching some farming kind of show, and dude has to go out and pollinate his entire crops by hand now as the bee's simply aren't plentiful enough to do so naturally.. very scary stuff, and like you said, the impact will be deep i would think.. but on a good note, maybe it will create some new job's for the us economy.. i wouldn't mind going out in some fields with a paint brush and hand pollinating some plants, so long as we're talking about ganja that is, lol.. not really funny though when you think about it...

maybe farmers could grow a ton of male plants in a small corner plot. then collect the massive amounts of pollen from them. then have some sort of machine that goes up and down the rows of females, pollinating them. the reason u need a lot of pollen is because there will be a lot wasted, since the machine cant go directly to the flower and pollinate it. it would probably just have fans blowing pollen around, and some will go into the pistils.

hand pollination would work for some crops, but not all. theres just no fuckin way humans could keep up. we need a technological solution

there is this one lake i like to go fishing at, its out in the pine barrens, and all around are all kinds of blueberry bogs and shit, but i pass by a couple of bogs where the farmers have bee rack thingy's, and when i get near them, i always roll the windows up, lol..

If bees die off one or two things would happen it would help in the long term plan of us killing Earth. Very unlikely plants would evolve into parasites and use us to spread there seed. Bees dying off we could add to the list like all oil spills, or that refreshing water leaking out of the Japanese reactor into the ocean. Who knew we could do such a great job of fucking ourselves?

I'm sure you would be able to set your Bees out for a farmer who wants his crops pollinated..
