What kind of bug is this?

Found this little fucker in my garden has a tiny head. I tried slicing its mouth off w/razor blade (dont fuk w/me I'll get mid evil) but just scraped it poof disappeared. Next day caught it again then vanished again. Next day he's in the bag. I think might be a predator but don't know. Nothing brought in for years its from my property.IMAG0680.jpgIMAG0679.jpg

It is a true bug, order Hemiptera, but the important question is what kind of mouthparts it has. These can be predatory or they can be herbaceous, it's a pretty big family of insects. Whatever it is, it won't live long without a mouth. Was the mouth bent under its body, like a tube? If so it was most likely predatory, and probably would have helped guard the garden. I should note that there are piercing-sucking hemipterans that peg plants and suck their juices too. TBH, just put him out.

Thanks man can't see for shit anymore thought about it all day at work thought it was some assassin bug. First night I thought I saw grasshopper like teeth but closer look tiny head then gone. It's got a tube couldn't find mag until now the way it looked on my plant was a set up for ambush. Pretty confident were right I know nature shit I even knew it was a bug. He's back on his rounds I'll know if somethings up or not. :................................two days later I think I saw it using tube to pierce stem its dead. The End
