Hi fellow weed lovers. As you can see by the pics, my plants are about 5 weeks old now and are only on a window sill in the bedroom in south east london. What do people think? are they too small, just right, scrawny etc. I have so far just fed them 1 day old tap water not even ph tested. I am due to get some miracle grow tomato feed tomorrow. And some miracle grow booster stuff when it flowers. Anyone give advice on the quantity of tomato feed i need to give them?

they are in need of nitrgon.. make sure you ph after mixing your nutes. this is important so that you don't lock up the roos from any intake to the plant..use the bloom booster during flower time..

i'd get the light situation sorted out first those plants are leggy and stretched too far they cant hold themselves up now , do you at least have a fan blowing on them to help the stalk strengthen ?

not looking too bad for a london windowsill, kinda small but just as to be expected. are you planning to flower them on the window sill as well? (brave man if so :P)

with regard to the feed, i can't comment on quantities, start out with low dosages and build it up until you find their limits.

ya forgotto mention that the glass from the window on a harm day will fry your plant.. be careful

Actually the pic above from robert 14617 is actually the same plants but about 2 weeks earlier. they are now the size they are in the other pics. Dont know how i got the older pic uploaded!!!

Tip top, why am i brave if i plan to flower on window sill?

becuz of what i said heat factor..its going to happen. on day you will come home to a crispy little girl..

that and the fact that i don't know where you live exactly so there's every chance a nosey niehgbour with nothing better to do spots em and calls in the fuzz. a large amount of small scale busts happen because of stupid pissy nosey neighbours :lol:

man, you're committing murder...give those plants at least THREE day old tap water, but I wouldn't even recommend that...Give them distilled water, and don't be stingy about it. Those plants are 5 weeks, not two. After 2 weeks, they lose those little leaves at the bottom (or they just stay on there looking dead for a while), and the plants stop being self-sufficient. Have you ever noticed why your plants grow in the dark? It's because they have nitrogen (seedlings have those two week leaves at most) and they feed off of that. Plain and simple, feed the children!

why all tap water vis not the same. i can use my city tap water right out the tap with out have to ph it at all. some you have to and some water you don't

another thing that you need to learn. DO NOT READ THE LABEL ON THE PACKAGE OF THE N. it will say 1tsp per 2 gallons probably. Give it 1 tsp per 4 gallons. Ease your way into it. You didn't start by eating steak. what's the ratio of the tomato boost shit? i don't like the miracle grow idea...it's usually a surefire way to give your plant all that it DOESN'T NEED. The plant needs light, and the rainy days in London are not going to suffice for a strong healthy plant. the plant can't stand up on it's own for many reasons:

not enough healthy light
lack of nitrogen
no fan blowing on it to strengthen stem
12/12 tend to grow in poles (12/12 i'm guessing is what your window is getting, if that.)

also, with the window grow, how many lights are hitting it in the "night time" ... Does any light, even for a second, hit it?

not ph'ing the water might be a bit of an issue, but nothing wrong whatsoever with tape water that's been out for 24 hours... on recomendation of the forum i've started running it straight from the tap and sod leraving it out, to no ill effect it would seem :) although i guess you're right, cutting down a nice big harvest is murder at the end of the day :P

I have just fed them some tomorite i bought from b&q. Bottle said to give 20ml per 1 gallon, so thats about 4.4 ml per litre. I gave it about 2.5 ml per litre. And just fed the litre of water between the 7 plants. Also cant i just move the plants from the window. They are not actually on the window sill. They are on a dressing table in front of the window. So they are not tall enough so people across the road can see yet. Also does anyone know how tall these babies will grow to? Am i looking at about 2-3 feet tall. Or am I just dreaming that they could be anywhere near that tall!!!

away from the window, so essentially just inside ambient ligthing with a small bit of light from the sun, you're not going to be growing much :lol: the plants need to be in the window, in the direct sunlight, you get a crap enough sun as it is in the UK, and it's bloody raining today! if they're dropped down from the window, then they're only going to be getting a few hours of good light a day as you'll only be getting the sunrise.sunset light directly shining on your plants

Should i plant them outside then in say maybe a month? Could I possibly be looking at 3 foot tall plants if I put them outside?

yes plant them outside, or grow them indoors, in an indoors manner. why would you keep them indoors for a further month though? get them out and under the sunlight pronto, or under a grow light inside.

i think you might want to slow down and do some reading on cannabis growing

it's getting pretty warm now, but i've not grown outside so can't advise.. they won't be hardy enough to cope with outdoors if they keep growing and stretching like that though, as has been said they can barely support themselves as it is.

where would you be planting outdoors if you're living in london? your back garden?

my dads garden. i want a male and female together so i can get the seeds. would i get alot of seeds from a pollinated plant?
