i want consistency. i have lots of plants that grow just fine at 5.8 ppm and low nutes. i have these other plants (~20%) that are sick the entire time, they don't like nutes or light and get claws. showing cal and mag defficiencies the entire grow....they are fed ca/mag, so that isn't the issue. ran under 300ppft and 200ppm to react to claw, that was too much at week 5 even. that is dumb. they still give bud too, just look like crap and when i post them eveyone tries to tell me what i am not doing.

Take note of the finicky strains you encounter, AND take note of those strain's parent-strains. Consider not running those in your space, and gravitate more toward the strain(s) that respond well in your space.

awww, that is not what i wanted to hear. so far, it does seem strain related. when i have the problem and run the same strain (when it has a small pheno range) both have the problem...sometimes one more than the other. i had this happed on a single plant (it was purple, abnormal) out of like 12 of the same strain. since then i have had problems with dutch passion blueberry, ace tikal, thseeds melonsicls ( i have 2 packs of these to pop still). the first one was a critical kush, but that was an oddity. it did have root rot (kept alive with peroxide). the others have not. it is not breeder related at all. i have strains from the same breeders (dutch passion durban poison for example) and they are wonderful. even the thseeds bubblegum has turned around and looks normal now.
