Just as a foreward, this is probably a kind of stupid question. this is my first time growing ever, and i will only be growing 5-10 plants outside from seeds. I am wanting to plant in like late feb/early to mid march, but everywhere i see people saying wait until late april. im wondering, what is the reason for this? it doesnt snow ever where I live (bay area), so thats not an issue. if I plant in february or march will it completely mess up the plants? I'm growing outdoors in soil, and where I am it rains until sometime in march. Is natural rain bad for new sprouted plants? Thank you.
