You do NOT have to spray it heavily 2-3 times a day (OCD problem?)! Kills through both contact and ingestion action, but is much more effective if insects ingest it. Apply when small larvae are feeding on plant surfaces and cover surfaces completely. A second application may be necessary a few days later if additional larvae hatch out after the first application. Follow label directions for mixing and application for maximum effectiveness and safety. That's from another site and sorry I forgot to get the name for the due credit.
I would apply once, getting a good coating on the leaves and repeat again 7 days later. If you feel you need to do it again. follow up the second with a third application 5 days after that one!
Spinosad does not react badly to humans or their common pets like cats and dogs. In fact it is used as an oral solution to fleas! It is a natural product and is considered as organic in many countries! Thanks to wiki for that tidbit and for the following!
Trade names include Comfortis and Trifexis® (which also includes
milbemycin oxime) (both brands treat adult fleas on pets; the latter also prevents
heartworm disease), and Natroba (for human head lice.) It is commonly used to kill
thrips and other pests on flowering
marijuana plants a few weeks before harvest without harming the flowers or making them harmful if smoked.
