What is this worm looking shit

So ladybugs eat other bugs as adults. As nymphs I’m pretty sure they’re predacious too. Makes me think the larva is as well. So if that’s true, then unlike most bugs it’s not eating your plant. Maybe it crawled in there for aphids? I’m not joking about that, they’re a very aggressive predator. Now if it decides to stay in your bud and go to the next stage in it’s cycle, then that’s not so good if it’s in there shitting.
Your plant’s not finished. You have or had a food source for them on your plant, likely aphids, and they set up shop.
That's an interesting point of view! bongsmilie

Is That a gif from the Poltergeist movie!!??
Yeah, I think so. That movie scared the beejeezus out me as kid.

They’ll last an easy month in my dry/cure room. I find them when I dry trim.
Remember I told you I love ladybugs, so I can’t squash them like I do to most bugs, I get up and put them outside….
I think those are red bud worms, like borers or gall midges.
I havent seen many lady bugs this year but there sure have been a lot of dragon flies hovering around. I kind of have a love/hate relationship with those.

Dragonflies are awesome. I didn’t pull off it’s wing, I usually stay away from them but this one was pretty mellow. Look at those colours and those big buggy eyes!

Beautiful pics!
And dont get me wrong, they're amazing and I love watching them dance across the water at camp, but over the years I've taken one too many to the face while on my bike. Its like getting smacked with a 2x2 and when you're going 70mph -especially riding in a group - all ya can do is grit thru the pain. I've even hit bats while riding at night (they swoop down at the headlight for the moths) that didnt hurt as bad as the dragonflies. Something about their body shape that just wallops ya. lol
