That is a compact fluorescent. Many people, including myself, have successful grows with this type of bulb.
They make these ranging from 2 watts to 150 watts.
I would recommend using at least 26w (100w equivalent) for your setup, but 30 or 40 watt bulbs would be even better. 40w is usually the highest wattage people can find in local stores. However, 40+ watt bulbs are sold all over the internet. I personally like the 85 watt bulbs as they are very bright and put out over 4000 lumens. They are only about $20 too, which seems like a lot, but they last for a very very long time.
Also, look at the color temperature when buying them. You want 6500k or 6000k for vegetative and 3000k or 2700k for flowering.
