What is this...Can't seem to solve the problem

If the nutes are in proper balance it shouldn't cause lockouts but when EC is too high will cause all sorts of symptoms while it fries the plants. Too high EC during veg leads to toxic salts buildup about half way thru flower that really fucks up the buds. Snap, crackle and pop are not just for rice krispies. lol

His plant looks nice and healthy on top tho so I'd water down the mix and soldier on.

This was my thought so thank you. I read the below info as well. I'm gonna draw down the EC to 1.0.-1.2. Is pH good at 5.5-6?

pH looks good. Don't be anal about keeping it there tho. Let it range from 5.5 - 6.5. When I was doing DWC with AN 3-part before they made it pH Perfect I'd knock the pH down to the low 5s with conc sulphuric acid at the top up and 3 days later it would be up to almost 6.5 and the plants were happy as hell. Top up with RO water, check ppm and pH, add a bit of nutes and 4 or 5 drops of acid and good for another 3 days then repeat. That ranging back and forth made sure each nutrient had it's prime pH level at least part of the time. Once I got the pH Perfect stuff about 5 years after it came out I never checked pH again. Talk about time saver and they don't cost any more than any other 3-part nute but are quite a bit more dilute than the old ones AN makes. I bought some of the 3-part Jungle Juice so will have to get the pH pen out again to see what it says when they are mixed up in RO and if in that range I'm not messing with the pH. Growing in pots of semi-organic stuff now so it's not a big deal unless it's like pH 4 or something which I highly doubt.

When you're growing 16 plants to a tub they go thru a lot of water. lol

Here's a good root mass from them. 20 days after they started getting roots thru the net pots.

Those plants look like shit. Sorry. Who can tell root color under HPS?
