At the "crotch" of each node there's little leaves starting to grow.. What's it called and what will it eventually be???
At each node is a Fan leaf branch, a new shoot as GramReaper said. The tip of this is called the meristem and is like the stem cells of the plant. Indica dominant plants will stay shorter and more bushy than sativas, which have an apical dominance. That means their top node wants to grow the fastest. At the "crotch" of each node there's little leaves starting to grow.. What's it called and what will it eventually be???
