what happens if someone gets raided and they have a baby sitting on the couch in front of the front door? or somewhere near where they throw the flashbang? wouldnt that seriously affect the babies hearing? and what about the flash too?

cops scout you out and raid when your kids are at school for the most part. they will know.
Sounds about right to me. Also, the babies hearing and sight are still developing and the organs are still young. Sensitivity to such things at a young age can have more of an effect at such a young age as opposed to a more developed individual. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's dangerous at any age, but it would be like shining a 1,000,000 candle light power Q beam in your eye the day after you have cataract surgery.

Well the question was about a baby, so it wouldn't be off at school, but for the most part how many people who are targets of raids have young children living with them? I would say not too many, nontheless I think a flash bang that lands near a child would be very devastating, their much more powerful then they show them to be in video games.

the babies are probably helping with the illegal activity, they should be the first to get murdered or assaulted. Damn smack head babies and their illegal arms dealings! They should be so lucky to lose their sight and hearing.

I mean shit the a baby might be better off dead his/hers parent is going to jail his/hers whole child hood.

Probably should protect the kids...

I wouldn't suggest dealing in situations that would warrant a raid by the police if there is a baby in the house. You would be facing even more charges if you were to put a child in danger and would definitely get fucked around in the court system for it.

Let's put it this way...I know cops who have been flash banged. And when a cop says its the worst thing you can do to someone....I believe him. It puts off a flash bright enough and sound loud enough to cause you to go def and blind for hours at a time. That shit isn't just 5 min and your good to go...it can permantely damage adult hearing and sight alone. It'd honestly rupture the childs ear drums and cause permanent blindness...if not kill the baby. Flash bangs are fucking insane. I'd honestly rather be shot. And before you ask. Yes I've been shot. And yes it was an accident. And no I didn't shoot myself lol.

in all fairness, if you're worried about the fucking cops busting in your door and flash-bangin' you, then you probably need to move and get a different line of business... jesus.....

Where I am from they flash bang even the lowest level dealers. Watched a house get raided on a tip that there was an elaborate grow op...dude had one plant and like an ounce and a half...and 4 swat members hog tied and flash banged the entire house.

uhmm.. Y E A H!

I mean, anyone with any bit of common sense would know that, that child/baby is going to have hearing problems and possibly temporary blindness and or eye problems. I don't think the flash would really leave any perm. effect on the baby/child. However, those flash-bangs are incredibly loud.. and I would almost guarantee you that, that baby/child will have perm. ear drum damage.

This one is hard to litigate.. I mean, while they were probably at fault to a certain level, the police would win that case. Why? Because their the police.. and they can. Secondly.. the attorney or attorney's for the police department, will argue that, the parent or parents of this child/baby are at fault.. for putting the child in the position to where the child is and was exposed to dangerous circumstances and environment.

So yeah, it would be a hard case kinda.. but then again it wouldn't be that hard because like I said, the police are going to argue that to the fullest extent.

I would say that if anyone was to blame.. they would blame the parent or parents of the child/baby.. for putting the child into a dangerous environment (for whatever reason the police busted in for).

So yeah, the parents would lose that battle/case.

Good luck though.

peace.

Flash-Bangs can definitely fuck shit up...Lesson learned, don't let babies near doors or windows...without ear muffs, sun glasses, and a little baby-sized Flak Jacket...Lol
