He's right. If you look at my recent post, all 9 of my seeds were saved over 3-5 years in my freezer. In the fridge for a few years. Freezer for decades
I’ve had near 10 year old seeds pop out of a drawerI've had some for a couple years in my desk. Should I be worried? I assumed long as it was in a dry dark space I would be ok. How long do they last outside a fridge or freezer?
I would crack a bunch and find outI've had some for a couple years in my desk. Should I be worried? I assumed long as it was in a dry dark space I would be ok. How long do they last outside a fridge or freezer?

Ive even had 20+ year old seeds pop from a drawer long as its in a cool dark and dry place and the seeds are all good ur ok i think people over think seed storage yeah maybe germ rates may go down a bit but not massive ime long as they stored as i said really its down to how good the seeds are in the first place i think shit seeds are shit seeds be it over time or not it is what it is and maybe i just been lucky all i know is i dont do anything fancy or have major issues popping emI’ve had near 10 year old seeds pop out of a drawer
Sadly germ rates go down with excessive age and storage conditions are also key so nowadays I put them in the fridge mostly in a sealed airtight container with desiccant packs
And seem to have no issues with germ rates currently
seeds come in stay fresh tube already.
How much are the radish seeds ?Tubes and then into an airtight container with dessicant packs.
For vegetable and flower seeds I save every year I just use plastic bags and then put those in an airtight container since I grow and collect them every year. I rotate them yearly.
That's how I store the seeds I make. I have seeds that I bought that came in tubes and I keep them in an airtight container the same way.@xtsho seeds come in stay fresh tube already. Ima throw em in a zip-lock put in fridge and see what they do. Time will tell.
Respect for the garden!
They're not ready for release yet. I haven't stabilized the strain. I started with a Cherry Belle and a White Icicle. The two varieties on the left. I let them cross pollinate and now I'm getting a variety of pheno's. I'll let you know when they're ready. How much are the radish seeds ?
cold room or iceboxGee, how ever did people store seeds before the invention of the refrigerator/freezer
Just keep em in a dry dark place, preferably cool but not necessarily refrigerated.
