What is on my fucking plant.... Virus?

Well, this was only noticeable on one of the tops this morning. It was on all 4 tops last time i looked.

Almost black in color and only on new growth. Looks like dirt or something but it doesn't come off.

Plant is outside, im becoming worried it may be a virus or something.

Growing in a manure and hummus mix, and lsted. Has been given no nutes and started in yard dirt under cfls until i moved outside last week.

Here is the whole plant. Not sure what this is, never seen anything like it. Search engines haven't helped....

And here is a yellow grasshopper. He was nearby and kinda cool looking. I have lots in my yard but i think they eat bugs? Predators are good.
