I didn't have this last time the lollipop subject came up. Here is a pick of one of my Blue Cheese lollipops, 3 weeks into flower. It is in a 5" x 5" square pot.

lolli pop you leave only the main stalk and a few short branches and the plant makes a big lolli pop of buds

ichi its directed at u..... it looks like ur using shitty soil and i have a feeling its they are not under 1000 watt hps..... am i right ...

I would NOT lollipop outdoor plants unsless u have them really close to one another...... lollipoppiying is more for indoor grower trying to maximize results and space....
Its Coco, not dirt. And I have a 400w in a 24 x 24 space 4 inches from the tops so I don't think there is a real problem. Your random speculation is amusing and your suggestion that you could some how sense that the plant wasn't under a 1000w is more amusing. Tell me more.

I disagree. At correct distances small wattage (400) lights can create equal intensity.

ichi..... thx for the reply.. damn that vlue cheese looks good. please tell me when its done how much that weighs please

looks nice ...realy nice.

i will try it next time on mine... i made so many mistakes this time (1st time) i have had the lights about a metre away from tops of plants, now about 3 inches. as a result they are streched and take up loads of room...

i'm glad to say LOLLI-POPPING seems to be the way forward.

Thanks for the lolli popping tips. I just ran out and lollipopped last night and they was in the first week of bloom. Hope it dont hurt them any. I think they was most likely really still in the veg stage hopefully. I wondered if it had to be done in veg and now I know. I did the super cropping thing on my last batch and between squeezing and bending all the stems.going through too low ph for a good while..accidentally leaving the UVB light on all night..using MG Pearlite..the grow room being way too hot I managed to kill em all. Did snag the last little green part for clones which presently not looking too good either. I am assuming the super cropping shoulda been done in the veg state too? Not sure why I am asking this question since I aint never going to do it again no matter what the answer:)

lolli popping is when u take most of the branches off and leave 5-3 nodes.... i personanly prefer 3 or 2 resulting in 1 huge cola at the end .......i do this pruning in veg 2 days before flipping them into bloom......with these branches u can make clones if u want tooo.....
