You gotta give us a little more...What are you growing in, what if anything have you fed it (specify brands), what are you watering it with and how much...etc.?
And if that is some kind of a cup, are there drainage holes?

One of the most common problems experienced with plants this young is nutrient burn, they wont really need anything except warmth, adequate moisture and a little light (and love) this early in the game. There could be fertilizer in the mix you used (Scotts, Miracle Grow have too much).

Wish I knew good reg that's all I could tell you, just good seeds from some I had got during my consumption :) again this is a test I have never made it this far and I did start some before but it was before I had access to any info on how to grow and killed em as sprouts.

If you're really 2 weeks into veg, something is wrong. I rather believe these are cuttings or seedling with a couple weeks, veg hasn't started yet. What soil are you using? I'm not seeing enough perlite and you confirm it is muddy when soaked, not good. Unless you use a good organic amended soil, it won't work even if you give them nuts, btw what are you giving them? you should not, with the good soil, there is no need of nuts. Also, do you ph your water? growing indoor requires you to re-produce certain conditions for the plant to strive.

I would say, keep those and do what you can, it is actually a great way to learn. On the side, try to start over but with a better environment starting with a good soil ($15 for 1.5 cuf), quality water with 5.5 ph, loose the CFL and try to get a small HPS on ebay, you can probably buy a used 400W for less than a hundred and give them lots of space, ho and give some space, your container is way to small.

Nobody said it was cheap or free to make your girls happy. You'll find yourself spending some bucks but they give you back so much more!

How do I combat this, if it is nute burn??? the soil is not good to soak as it turns to nasty mud.
You would have to flush, using at least 3x as much water as your containers volume. For example: half liter container = at 1.5 liters of water. This is NOT good news for you if you are using backyard dirt. And backyard dirt is not good to use for a plethora of good reasons, including that it is not the right consistency for container gardening and does not drain well. You never know what is in it, and it most likely came with bugs and other pathogens. Sandy soils also leach nutrients much easier. Not to mention that even a "small amount" of MG fertilizer for that little plant is probably way over-kill.

But look, I am definitely not the epitome of a moral compass or anything like that; but have you considered that if you can't afford a few of the things encompassing a bare-minimum grow and have not had access to the information you need to pull it off...Well, maybe you should take a little time to explore the grow guides here and elsewhere on the internet, get some advice, do some planning and save up enough cash to have a chance at pulling in a decent harvest?
I know we all have to start somewhere, and we aren't all lucky enough to have a father to grow with like I did. But trust me when I say that the majority of us have nuked seedlings and still had to learn from our mistakes the hardest way possible when we could have made it much easier for ourselves. It is far better to learn what you can about something prior to diving right into it, and that goes for most things in life.

i have a plant that i used soil from outside had all the same things you were talking about muddy looking, sandy all that stuff i know it had alot of nutes in it thats why i used it, it worked fine for me although the drainage does suck you should be good with that soil the plant might not be 6ft might be 4 but it will grow as for the yellowing looks like nute burn flush your soil and dont use anything for about a week and look at NEW GROWTH your old leaves that are yellowing will not recover as long as your new leaves dont have that problem you will be good. But also because of the drainage issue in using backyard soil it could be a problem of overwatering it looks the same as nute burn idk your watering sched. but take that into concideration. Good luck!
