What is happening??? PLEASE HELP

This is my second grow, last year being my first, and i am having a serious problem with some of my plants. It is strange as to why this is happening considering a had no problems last year other then bud worms. I have the same setting (back yard), nutes, soil/mix, and even the same strains of plants. But recently, about a week ago, some of my plants started losing there buds starting from the lower branches from the base of the branch to the tips. And now its starting to happen to the higher part of my plants. All my plants have equal buds all around, top to bottom and even inside to the base of the branches. So basically these nice buds are thinning up and reduced to nothing but leaf. It could be that im just noob and i don't realize what is happening so i am hoping that someone here can help me out. Any info helps so please if you have any solutions/comments/opinions, anything at all then please do post. Btw i am new to this site so please excuse any errors i might of made

please note that the affected buds were just as big as the tips.

Garden looks very nice. Just to clarify, you're saying that your buds went from small to large, and then back to small again? And you didn't get baked, smoke them and then forget, right?

Thanks man. Well buds grew pretty quick and they were still getting fatter till about a week ago that this started happening. Not exactly, the buds went from small (of course) to large and were getting fatter, then they just started getting smaller and smaller till there was no bud left. I wish they were going from big to small but they are going from big to nothing. I really have no idea of what is happening.

Very odd. I wish I could help here, but I've never experienced this issue before. Hopefully this will bring up your post, and an outdoor grower can take a look.
