What is causing this leaf damage?

to be honest, im leaning 90% towards animal or bug actually chewing or eating it. Although it may turn out to be a nutrient problem, I would be very surprised if so.
yea? probably not nutrient as i am pretty confident on my feeding- whatever the animal or bug (if that is the case) must be nocturnal. nothing shows when i look above or under the damaged leaf.

Oh no he's got reputation points. Like I said, doesn't look like bug damage. The damage is completely different on one leaf, so maybe people with reputation can tell me what bug is it? I mean with such reputation you should be able to come up with something better than "something is eating them" shouldn't you?
and you should understand that people that have been growing before without problems like this will not have pH issues or environmental issues.

Man all this negativity because i disagreed with you.

I see people who have grown for years making stupid ass mistakes all over the fucking place. There is no negativity. So what bug do you think it is?

Well considering that you couldn't disagree with me more that it's not bugs, yeah I kind of expect you to be able to give a hint of what bug you think it is since you say it's clearly a bug. You do know that azotol kills beetles right? Oh yeah, they are too smart to be sprayed. They eat leafs they die, you'd think somebody with so much reputation as you put it would be able to find dead bugs. So I guess we are back to the super secret bug you can't name but are sure it is.

There is no anger from me, but when somebody goes out of their way to quote me and say that they couldn't disagree more with me then I want to know what they think it is, if the best answer they have is "mystery bug, go ask Columbo" then maybe they should have just given their own advice without trying to make me look like a fool.

You said that you checked every where for bugs and honestly with the kind of damage that you describe you should be able to find a dead one or eggs, lava, bug shit or some kind of sign that is some kind of bug. Azatol kills every kind of insect that has been mentioned in this thread.

then you for no reason said

If you want to continue to think it is ph or a fan then that is fine with me.
The second you said it wasn't I had already dismissed that possibility, doesn't mean that I think it's a bug. Only reason I came in this thread was to try to help a grower and instead you guys act like you have some kind of super experience and I don't know shit. Sorry guy, been growing 9 years and I have never once seen bug damage on a plant indoors where you couldn't find any signs of bugs other than leaf damage.

You guys need to learn a thing or two about respect, if you're going to point out somebody to disagree with (me saying it doesn't sound like bug damage) then have the courtesy to have a real answer, not "the super slick ninja bug from planet X"

Take an empty tuna can and fill it with vegetable oil and leave it at the base of your plant over night. Some people say beer traps also work. If it's earwigs they might come from cracks in your windows or in the soil. placing cardboard might trap them as well.

for earwigs check under plant containers, clean up real good then take a rag and wet it with molasses water and ring out a bit and toss it on floor next to containers tey will be under it after lights come on ....ten kill them fookers....rince and repeat :)

no no signs yet, the hard part is depicting what is old damage and what is new. the bug can be dead already, but a few days ago i did see new damage that wasnt there a few days before that. i may try the soaked towel or oil trap
