what is causeing these spots?

I have a DNA lemon skunk that is currently 17 days flowering. I am running a 400 hps and she is in a 10 gal tote with ffof. I gave her a 1/2 bloom fert at the start of flowering. I am useing the pure vida line and trive alive and a little awsome bloosom. Shortly there after I started to get rust colored spots. I flushed and she has seen nothing but water since. I am still getting spots so today I flushed again with distilled water I think mine is to hard. My ? is what is causing the spots? Any help would be much appeciated.

Yeah dude i noticed this too...when I mist my leaves ill wake up in the morning to something simalar to this. im about to stop misting them. but why would misting your leaves cause that?

it burns them, if you MUST mist them, make sure its before you shut off your lights
 
yea, leave the leaves on her, never cut or trim them off, just add more light if its not getting down low enough. its hard to tell but you could be over-watering. its best if we can see the whole plant versus a few leaves

no misting ever and the leaves are to high for splashing.

Two problems I think...

1.) Magnesium Deficiency

2.) Budtender tends to remove leaves that are troublesome instead of repairing them ;)

Cal-Mag can fix this for you, as well as Humboldt Sea-Mag and a dozen others.... Good luck!
 
I just posted a similar thread and have the same problem you have except that I am using tap water. My tap is 500ppm and I thought that tap water had a lot of calcium and mag in it. I wonder if it could be from something else
 
why is everyone saying never to cut leaves? I wouldn't during flowering but in veg u can really make the plant bush out!

Thought it might be a cal or mag problem. My water is hard do you think that is part of the problem. I have some cal-mag. I don't take her leaves till she gives them up.
 
why not strip the leaves? If they aren't dead and ready to fall of they produce energy for the plant and carry water up and down the plant. Stripping your leaves is stealing bud from yourself. As for the original question try some epsom salt and look for any bugs or webs.
 
Check your pH. Calcium & Magnesium start to lock out at pH 6.4 and lower, so if your pH is low and you're adding CalMag, the plant isn't going to be able to absorb it and it will just cause more problems. That is probably why she didn't like it!
