What is a ppm meter???

Its a meter that tells you the 'parts per million' suspended in your solution (water). I use a Bluelab Truncheon which uses EC (electrical Conductivity) and has a conversion chart on it for PPM. Some folks use the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meters instead. All of the meters let you know the strength of the 'nutes' you have in your reservoir or are adding to your water if you aren't using an automated system. These tests should be done after you have adjustd the ph of your water to the right ph for your growing medium. VV
