Almost looks like an aphid but are there more?I found these in my coco. Anyone know what it is??
Boiling water that doesn't sound good.Looks like a root aphid. I only know how to kill them if you aren't using the medium presently. Boiling hot water flush. Sterilizes the medium. If you're using that medium maybe some diatomaceous Earth? Don't know if it would effect them as small as they are.

Couldn't understand why I kept getting them or where they came from.Imo those are harmless soil mites/spring tails They always come in the coco. Root aphids look like tiny grubs kinda. Marshmallow man body. You'd know if you had root aphids
Aphids legs have a bend in them going to the back. That's a telltale sign if it's an aphid. Which the one in the pic does not.

Ya I meant soil mites/spring tails come in coco oftenIdk what they are but I'm sure they aren't springtails, the bug in the photo doesn't look like springtails I've seen and own!
