left over leaves out of the freezer. bud situation around me in uk is terrible. id rather not smoke sand or metal shavings so im left with this. i spend 15 mins picking out the most thc laden leaves before i can skin up, then i get a 5 minute smoking buzz and its back to buddy whiskey. who offers no comforts..

lord let my crop be bountiful and soon..

let us know what your smoking boys and girls. so i feel better... :neutral:

scraping my pipes and stems for resin...:spew:

take the rest of it, do a quick ISO wash
and you'll end up with a tiny bit of iso oil/hash

won't be much, but will be better than smoking a few leaves

get a bottle of 99% Isopropyl alcohol
mix in a bottle for 1 min
strain through a disposable coffee filter

let the alcohol evap

damn, Ive been there before. scrapeing pipes and picking burnt weed out of the ash tray. Taking ressin hits from the pipe only to get a mouth of flaming hot lighter fluid. Searching the grownd for non existant weed on my knees. Picking up the phone and trying to get ahold of a sketchy dopeman to come over and sell you some over priced shwaagg.... , Chewing on stems trying to get a buzz.... oooo.... no weed = no good. I CANT SAY IVE EVER SCRAPED STEMS FOR RESSIN THOUGH LIKE JONNY.

right. well. i gave in t'other night and bought a half with a mate from a supposedly clean, decent chap. first glance it looked alright, a bit dense and small, but acceptable given the current situation.

on closer inspection however, the majority of the buds are coated to some degree in this waxy, caramel looking residue. if you drop a bud on a hard surface it sounds like youre dropping a small stone. theyre all crunchy like bits of old popcorn.

enclosed are some pics. the buds pictured are all from the same little group. they weigh 3.3g, yet look at the size of them! my camera is shit so detail hasnt come out too well, but with careful eyes you can clearly see the shit bits im talking about.. not to mention the near black burnt up little bud...

im sick of this shit. why pollute your own crops? (i do know the reason but its just not good enough to justify or comprehend). how far up the line of suppliers does this start, and what the fuck are they playing at?

i think we need some sort of sticky in the faq or something with pictures of tainted buds, what to look out for and how to determine the good from the bad. not a nice subject but one which will be useful for the naive / uninformed. orwell once said 'in 10 years we may find canned food to be a bigger killer than the machine gun'. in 10 years time god knows the reprocussions of smoking stuff like this.

the only clean, decent weed ive smoked in the last six months has been stuff ive grown myself, and then theres never enough of it to go round.

im sick to the core.

Hell, here we can only get some OVENDRIED the gambians are sellin'. What a load of crap, I'd rather clean my pipe for resin and settle for that.

2 weeks into veg, a long way ahead. :-?

I understand. Everything going around here is either premature or schwag. A buddy called lastnight and said that there are "headies" going around for $50 (3.5grams.) LOL. Thats crazy. I havent seen anything good going through here since last winter when there was White Widow. Thats why I said screw it, Im growing!!!

its very sad :cry: to hear about that bad situation in UK.two years ago near Brighton i never see weed with sand or glass or metal shavings in.hope you find good stuff for smoking:joint: and your crop be allready soon. right now i smoke out my first harwest,taste is bit harsh(i dry too fast)but high is good.
how i see prices going up.all my time in UK i bought 4g for 40 pounds.

i'm with you on this one. (UK) i have always had to rely on buying smoke and the last year has been really bad. the 'sand' era was scary as everyone thought it was fiberglass and there were reports of people lungs bleeding. now when you buy in the gear is very damp. if you leave it out to dry for a few hours it only weighs half of what it should:evil:

thats why i am doing it myself this year :blsmoke:

The prices don't seem to vary between good weed and bad weed either, they want the same price no matter, so even good growers have been noticing this and looking for ways to cut corners and make more money.

you used to be able to get 2 eights for a fiver less. you dont get any sort of deal and pay £140 for oz. i couldnt bare to pay anymore cash out to the kids taking the p

exactly. at least you chaps over the pond get different grades of pot for different prices. ours is always the same price, especially if youre buying less than an oz, but the quality and weight can vary greatly.

id rather smoke mexican 'schwag', or african dirt weed, than little nugget buds that look, taste and feel like pre-pubescent poos.
