Thanks kev. Im lovin the look of the canopy. I really cant see much point to setting up a scrog screen where all yyour plants are joined together. This has really given me the same effect except i can pull a single plant out and work on it individually.

anyone think im gonna have any problems with space? Ive got pretty decent airflow and the intake is below the canopy and im just a bit worried about my crampy situation. Im pretty sure i got 3 out of 4 females at least out of the WW's which are the big ones so if that last ones a girl i might have to put her outside if i run outof room.

Your canapy looks great man. what did you do? lst? top? tie down? I think that you are going to yield pretty fat of those bitches. i am curious as to how well the barneys farm seeds are doing?

The ladies look great! I think you should have enough room but may have to move the bigger one out but maybe you could tie it down or something?

Yeh they are all topped and tied and topped and tied again. As for the barneys blue cheese, they arent doin so well. Compared to the master kush and skunk #11 which have recieved the same treatment. All those 5 smaller ones are root bound and i dont have the room to up pot them. They will have to live it out how they are especially if i end up with 4 of 4 females out of the widows. And datdude i dont have the room to tie anything again im out of footprint space if ya know what i mean :( head height is not really my problem as my cooltube works pretty well. I'd be comfortable havin my plants 5 inches off it. Im just worried somethin might go wrong once my cab is crammed full of buds. I might buy an extra fan as i need a decent carbon filter anyways so i might get a bit more airflow... Ill just see how things pan out for now.

I got some new bloom nutes. Its an Australian brand called podron invincible flower part a & b. $25 for that and the guy at the hydro shop reckons its the ducks nuts. Wait and see i guess!

Are you trying to take the cheap route? i work at a hydro store and i have never heard of that. i really recommend flora duo. it is cheap, great quality, and will be good for you cus it helps to decrese the nodal spacing, which would keep your plants nice and compact. As for the root bound plants i would transplant them into a fabric pot of the same size. the fabric will airprune your roots allowing them to develop a larger root mass before becoming root bound.

Thanks mcgee ill look into those fabric pots. Im not really goin for the cheap route just the route which has the highest results-money spent ratio :) and as i said those nutes are an Australian brand so unless your from sydney specifically, i wouldn't expect you to have heard of it. There is even a sticker on the front that says "formulated for sydney tapwater". $25 for nutes seems pretty reasonable to me. You just gotta try these things i guess

Well I have some bad news. 3 of 4 of the widows were males :( I binned 2 and put the best looking/smelling one outside so i can harvest some pollen off him. But now im left with 2 lanky as master kush, 2 weak looking blue cheese an ok looking skunk and a large WW. I bought a tent and did away with my shitty old cupboard so now i have plenty of room. I up potted everything including the ww into a huge pot as i really need to maximize yeild off her as much as possible. Anyway, so much with my lovely canopy. Pics will come as soon as i can im just havin a bit of camera trouble.

I will be ordering more seeds soon so if anyone has some reccomendations i would appreciate it. Im gonna go 5 and 5 something indica dom and something sativa dom. Im liking the look of LSD for the indica and chocolope for the sativa. Any comments?

Cheers

I want to see pics of you MK, I got a clone of MK x Skunk (possibly Mr Nice's version but unknown) and it had some funky grow characteristics. First off it did go threw a rough veg cycle for the first 20 days so I'm sure that equates to some of the issues but once properly planted and lit it still grew funky curved (side to side not upward or downward) leaves an no not curled just curved, I wish I had taken pics.

I am glad to repart she is one of the healthiest, strongest and plushest in my garden, but still growing curved leaves.... taste and potency tbd.

I'm raving about Dynamite by Next Gen, budded in 7 days, she is thick and hairy at 24 and should be done in just over 20 days from now.

Ok so here are some pics. The lanky ones at the back are master kush. Im guessing the reason the kush strain got so lanky is because they were furthest from the light for the first week of 12 12. So they suffered the most stretch. The blue cheese are the 2 on the right, the skunk#11 on the left and the widow in the middle in her roomy new pot. What do you's think? This is day 12 of 12/12.

Cheers

Do you think i should bend those mk's over and tie them to the support thing thats around them? Im 12 days in but i definately thinnk there stretch is finished. Would it do anything other than give me a banana shaped bud?

This is the male i selected for breeding. Vigorous growth, responded well to topping and got a decent smell to it for a male. I will pollinate a little bud on all my female strains to mix the genetics up a little. I would love to indtroduce the vigor and hardiness of the ww into the potency and flavour of the blue cheese.

Update!

So after being away for a couple of days over xmas i opened my tent to some nice progress. Alot more white tips and pistils shootin out from everywhere. The scrauny blue cheeses are starting to show trichomes which doesn't suprise me cos the last blue cheese i grew was covered in them. The lanky master kushes decided they werent lanky enough and one of them grew right up past the light. Shes over 4 foot tall now so i had no choice but to tie her over.
These pics were taken yesterday on day 17 of 12/12.

White widow

Blue cheese

Master kush

Skunk#11

I was sick of watering with my big 10L jugs so i now use a tube and a syphon. So much easier..

Let me know what you think!
