What I found today.

I was checking some fences when I stumbled upon what appeared to be P.Cubensis. They were in a cow pasture and everything about them seems legit but mushrooms are scary. I posted in the ID section at the shroomery hoping for some answers but of course I had to show the brethren here.

they look like the ones we get here in Texas in pastures. we call those Sunny Side Ups. i think we have ourselves a winner! nice find Floyd.

Yeah the top of that cap looks quite like the stuff but I`m very far from being an ID`er. Trust the shroomery anyway. Nice find man!!

its tru. now the best method for storage is in the stomach so down the hatch before they go bad floyd. we dont want that now, do we?

I love pastures. Nonthing like spending a pretty day walking around woods and pasture land. All the young calves want investigate whatever it is you're doing. It pains me to say this because I never would have thought it when I was younger, but I love farming.

theres alot more cool things you know about to farm once you get older. entheogens and other psychoactive plants aside, gardening your own food is awesome too. i have great grandparents in Texerkana and they grow almost everything they need and then some. i really respect and dig that way of life. if all people did this, the world would be in alot better shape, in my opinion.

I spent most of the afternoon hoeing then mulching my roma tomatoes and pulling grass from my watermelon/cantaloupe patch. Our corn patch is going to be in soon and its a bunch. Last year we put up almost 1200 ears of corn, on the cob or cream style in bags. I'll definitely be roasting a few ears and should have some zucchini that's great on the grill. As a kid it was just chores, now I see it for how great and almost unique, these days, it is.

sounds delicious. i love roasted corn alot. theres nothing like fresh corn grilled in the husk and doused with butter and sum salt. dam, u got me jonesing for sum corn now. hahaha.

the only place i can think of here is a store called Fiesta. they have a stand outside of it that sells roasted corn in a cup with butter, salt, parmasean cheese and sum other things if you want em on it. if only they were open this late.

I haven't yet. I had to work all weekend so I didn't get the chance. I think I'm gonna eat em tomorrow night. I want to tonight but I'm too damn tired. I did manage to find a few more though.

Having any luck with your garden? My water melons have been growing like crazy.

yeah they are purple ringers. if you look on the stalk you will actually see a purple skirt looking flap on it. good find. take a couple tea bags and some sugar and your shrooms and boil them for about 4 minutes then strain it all and drink about half of it and then sip on it wait 45 mins and you will be trippin balls. i just did it about 5 months ago it was too extreme for me compared to when i was 18 and could handle them better
