What Hydroponics system should I use?

I am looking at purchasing a new hydro system, Currently I am growing with soil (fox farm) but would like a bit more speed to the growing process and am inquiring on hydroponics. I am in a dilemma between the water farm 8 site top drip system and the CAP ebb and flow 12 site system. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each from people that either own or have used either system. Please help me as I would like to make a purchase in the next couple of weeks here and am unsure as to what route to go.

Some additional information:

I will be using 1000 Watt HPS and MH
I have 7 foot ceilings
The temperature is well controlled
The air is always fresh and exchanged

Any additional information that may be needed to help me with my decision please just ask.

Thanks in advance for all of your help...

What's up dude, I wish I could convince you to stay in soil and go organic, but I know that won't happen. The first and only hydro I've done was in the CAP ebb and gro, and I thought that it was a pretty good system. I bought it at a shop, ended up being about $625, and found it online at plantlightinghydroponics.com for $450 after shipping, so I was a little bummed. Only to find out after setting it up that I could have built the same unit for less than half of that. So check around the forums, I know somebody has a good diy thread on the subject. Overall, the system does it's job. You can get some very fast and vigorous growth, hydro was definetely better in that sense. I wish I could offer some advise on the other system you mentioned, but I've never used it, it seems like it uses the same concept, so there probably wouldn't be much difference.

Jack Herrer,

I know that soil produces the best when done correctly and when done in organic but the speed is not there to supply me and my patients with our medicine in a timely manner. The only option that I seem to have is switching to a hydro set up so I can go from seed to weed in 90 days or from clone to weed even quicker. In soil it is taking me around 5 months or 150 days to go from seed to weed and that is way to long for me and my patients. I am a caregiver and a patient under the MI Medical Marihuana act and need to be as productive and efficient as possible and I can not see doing that in soil... I do appreciate your input and look forward to speaking with all of you while I am in the process of these grows...

Thanks for the help and any additional information that anyone would like to give me please feel free....
